This is the air dry clay we used to make our homemade clay magnets.

One thing worth knowing is that when you first take the clay out of the container, it can feel a little sticky. We found that after kneading it for a few minutes and working with it in the open air, it becomes much easier to handle and far less messy.

What we love most is that it doesn't require baking or special equipment. The girls can shape their creations, let them dry naturally, and then paint and decorate them later.

We've used it for magnets, keepsakes, and creative projects at home. It's easy for kids to work with and gives them the opportunity to turn an idea into something they can actually use and enjoy.

Why we love it:

• No baking or kiln required
• Easy for kids to shape and mold
• Great for magnets, keepsakes, and creative projects
• Can be painted and decorated after drying
• Encourages creativity and hands-on learning

One of our favorite projects was creating clay magnets that the girls now see every time they open the refrigerator. It's a simple activity that turns creativity into something lasting.

For our clay magnet project, we also used adhesive magnets and paint to finish the design.
